Frankfort Rotary's 10th Annual Winter Warmth Collection was a Big Success!
Frankfort Rotary's 10th Annual Winter Warmth Collection was a big success. Thanks to Benzie Sunrise Rotary Club for adding their collection to to our drive as well.
Kelly Ottinger of BACN reports the following were donated:
7 Men's Coats, 6 Women's Coats, 11 Children's Coats, 8 Hooded Sweatshirts, 4 Children's Snow Sets, 3 Pairs of Snow Pants, 2 Pairs of Boots, 4 Scarves, 8 Pairs of Gloves, 8 Hats, and 156 Pairs of Socks! Thats 217 articles of clothing altogether.
Also, $701 in cash was collected which allowed BACN to make specified purchases as needed.
Kelly reports that "Everything was of wonderful quality - brand new many with tags still attached".
Thank you to everyone who donated clothing or cash, and to the volunteers who worked on the drive.
