Wishing a Happy and Healthy Thanksgiving to the members of our Friendly Frankfort Rotary Club and their families and loved ones.
From my third floor/workshop I look out over what is commonly referred to as Tank Hill here in Frankfort. The view of the hillside is always changing, often obscured by snowfall, and sometimes echoing with hoots from the Great Horned Owls as they search for prey under cover of darkness.
In a world filled with constant connectivity, social media misinformation, along with worldwide tension and mistrust, it is sometimes difficult to see the good and beneficial work being performed by others, including Rotary. We are thankful that our Friendly Frankfort Rotary club is able to make a positive impact on the community that we call home. We are thankful too for the opportunity to celebrate together our Club’s Centennial and to continue to enjoy the bonds we share as a club.
For now, the greens of summer have turned into the golds and reds of fall to the grays of winter; but soon, my view of Tank Hill will be green again, because the seasons here in northern Michigan know exactly when to change, and they let us know that we have much to be thankful for.
Wishing a Happy and Healthy Thanksgiving to the members of our Friendly Frankfort Rotary Club and their families and loved ones,
Tim
