Club President Scott Harrison's Words of Encouragement for 2021

The Frankfort Rotary Club has been meeting via Zoom for almost a year now.  Once the pandemic shut down most personal contact, the resilience of Rotarians was demonstrated.

As we enter 2021, there is hope that life will slowly return to normal.  Many of our members have had a complete vaccination.  And we all look forward to a virtual conversation and meeting each week.

Thanks to member Jon Armstrong the program presentations have been excellent.  Such a variety of topics - there is something for everyone.  Our tech guru, Bill Collin, assures the meetings go on without a hitch.  Attendance has been strong despite the fact we do not gather for lunch and fellowship.

And we continue to do good works for our community.  Recently the club gathered warm coats, blankets, jackets, and socks for neighbors at BACN.  In addition, we collected donations of $1300 to send for those in need.  This project has been a success for 8 years.

We are also planning our annual recognition of the top ten graduating seniors from the two Benzie County high schools this spring.  Youth involvement in Rotary is such an important part of our being.

Our programs are posted on our website, and we welcome guests and visiting Rotarians.  See our information at rotaryfrankfortmi.org

Stay warm and healthy everyone, spring is around the corner!
